Stimulation for the baby

Expose or not exposed to stimuli and colors?
Your baby is surrounded by stimuli, from the natural environment and the environment you’ve created for them in their crib, stroller, play mat, and more.
Babies can’t filter or make a choice, and when they are overstimulated it takes them out of their comfort zone and causes them to cry or shut down.
Imagine you're lying on a mat, colorful toys hanging above you, some are playing music, others moving automatically, and a large mobile, with lots of lights, in the center. How long do you think you could endure looking at all that commotion?? Not very long.
Now think about a small baby, for whom everything is new, lying under all the colorful-musical-shifting objects. It doesn't feel like the calm and peaceful environment you wanted to create for them.
A mother’s intuition is not wrong, and recent studies show that too much stimulation is not recommended for babies. Excessive sensory input can cause eating and sleeping difficulties, and even future issues such as attention and concentration disorders.
Therefore, the recommendation is to moderate and control the baby's exposure to stimuli. Our play mat, with five different detachable toys, aligns with the latest research and allows to gradually expose the the baby to stimuli.
The toys can be detached from the activity arch, letting you introduce the toys one at a time, in a controlled manner.
Toy one - Mirror
Toy two - Rattle with small colorful balls
Toy three - Rabbit with crinkly tactile ears
Toy four - Squeaky duck
Toy five - A rustling teddy bear head
Step one - Introduce a different toy every play time/day
Step two - After the baby becomes familiar with one toy at a time, add another.
In addition to the toys hanging from the arch, the baby will discover a vibrating
ball and a squeaky duck, which they will encounter as they explore the soft and interesting mat.
In conclusion, you don’t need colors to stimulate the senses, and sometimes it’s better to use as few as possible.

The stimuli you choose should be moderated and introduced gradually.
